Will is a Senior Policy Influencing Specialist at Kivu International. He has experience developing and influencing policy in the UK government and in the international development sector.
At Kivu International, Will is supporting the Zambian Government to create jobs, sustain economic growth and implement agriculture sector reforms. He is also supporting civil society capacity building programmes more widely in East Africa.
Prior to joining Kivu International, Will led a crisis response team in the Cabinet Office’s COBR Unit, where he responded to a number of international emergencies including infectious disease outbreaks, the invasion of Ukraine, and the withdrawal from Afghanistan. He previously developed UK policy and programmes for Southern Africa at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
He also has experience working with Save the Children’s policy and advocacy team, with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)’s humanitarian advocacy team, and at the United States Senate in Washington D.C.
Will holds an MA in History from the University of Oxford, and an MPhil in Classics from the University of Cambridge.
